How to Submit a Project to a Codecraft Computer Programming Competition (CCPC)

If you are participating in a Codecraft Computer Programming Competition (CCPC), you will need to submit your completed project to compete! This article will explain how and where to submit your project.

All competitions are associated with programs on Codecraft Works’ platform. These programs are where projects must be submitted.

If you have not created an account or joined a Codecraft program for your competition, keep reading. If you are enrolled in your program already, skip to the “Submit Your Project” section below.

Create an Account

To join a program for a competition, students, teachers, and coaches will first need accounts on Codecraft Works’ platform.

Follow the onboarding instructions provided in your competition guidelines or by correspondence with Codecraft Works to create student and teacher accounts. If you are not sure how to create your account(s), contact your teacher, coach, or email Codecraft Works at hello@codecraftworks.com.

Join Your Program

For competitions like the Innovation Games, teachers and coaches are sent a custom short code, short program link, and information on creating and managing accounts for their students. Other competition programs can be joined by redeeming a program code.

Follow the onboarding instructions provided in your competition guidelines or by correspondence with Codecraft Works to join your program. Contact your teacher, coach, or email Codecraft Works at hello@codecraftworks.com if you are not sure how to join your program.

Submit Your Project

Once you have joined the program associated with your competition, navigate to it. If you are not already on the program page, you can get to it by following these steps:

a. Go to app.codecraftworks.com/login and log in with the same account you used to join the program. If your account has a password, you can enter your short code on this page to navigate to the correct login screen.

b. Once you are logged in, the program(s) you are enrolled in will appear under the “My Programs” tab on your Dashboard. Click on the program that is associated with your competition. Or, if you logged in with a password, you should be automatically redirected to your program page.
The “Submit CCPC Project” button will appear on the program page. Click this button and fill in the requested information to submit the project. Again, competitors must be enrolled in the program and logged in to see this button.

a. Please note that the “Submit CCPC Project” button may not be available if there is still time before the submission deadline. Refer to your competition guidelines or correspondence with Codecraft Works for your submission deadline. If you are not sure when the “Submit CCPC Project” button should be available, contact your teacher, coach, or email Codecraft Works at hello@codecraftworks.com.
All competitors must submit projects using their own Codecraft platform accounts. Teachers and coaches should not be logged into the Codecraft platform for project submission; each competitor’s account should be used to submit their own project.
