How to Submit a Project to a Codecraft Computer Programming Competition (CCPC)

If you are participating in a Codecraft Computer Programming Competition (CCPC), you will need to submit your completed project for judging! This article will explain how and where to submit your project.

All competitions are associated with dedicated programs on Codecraft Works’ platform. These programs are where projects must be submitted.

Create an Account on the Codecraft Platform

In order to join the program for their competition, students and coaches will first need to have accounts on the Codecraft Works platform. For competitions where students must have accounts and passwords created for them (like the Innovation Games), coaches can follow the instructions on this page: How to Create Student Accounts with Passwords. View your competition guidelines for more information.

Otherwise, accounts can be created by following the instructions on the ‘How to Create an Account: Students’ page and the ‘How to Create an Account: Teachers / Educators’.

Join the Program for Your Competition

For competitions like the Innovation Games, coaches are assigned programs just for their class or group of students. These coaches are sent a custom program link and information on creating and managing student accounts. View your competition guidelines for more information.

Other competition programs are joinable via program code. In order to proceed with the steps below, you must have access to the program code associated with your competition. Refer to your teacher, coach, competition coordinator or competition guidelines if you are unsure of how to join your program.

For more information on using a program code, refer to this article: ‘How to Use a Program Code’.

Submitting Your Project in the Program

  1. Navigate to the program associated with your competition. If you are not already on the program page, you can navigate to it by following these steps:

    a. Go to app.codecraftworks.com/login and log in with the same account you used for joining the program. If your account has a password, enter your short code on this page to navigate to the correct login screen.

    b. Once you are logged in, you should see a program tile with the same name as your competition under the “My Programs” tab on your Dashboard. Click on this tile to be redirected to the program page. Or, if you logged in with a password, you should be automatically redirected to your program page.

  2. The “Submit CCPC Project” button will appear on the program page. Click this button and fill in the requested information to submit the project. Again, competitors must have registered with the program code and be logged in to see this button. A heading that reads 'CCPC Submission'. Beneath it are the words 'No Project Currently Submitted' and a button that reads 'Submit CCPC Project'.

    a. Please note that the “Submit CCPC Project” button may not be available if there is still time before the submission deadline. Contact your teacher, coach, or competition coordinator if you are unsure when the “Submit CCPC Project” button should be available.

  3. All competitors must submit projects using their own Codecraft platform accounts. Teachers and coaches should not be logged into the Codecraft platform for project submission; each competitor’s account should be used to submit their own project.

And that’s it! You should now be equipped to submit your CCPC project for judging.
